I am truly saddened by MWEB. Not only are they are great, one of the best ISP's but i am sure they are a miles away from the rest. I have had no issues with them, except for today. Since Friday their Seacom cables have been interrupted and since Friday (22/03/2013) I have had very slow internet that I had to purchase a PREPAID account from another ISP so that I can surf the web or watch my soccer games without falling asleep waiting for the webpage to refresh!

Today (25/03/2013), my disappointment came, when I called the MWEB accounts department to ask if I would get Pro-rata'ed for these 3 days of NO INTERNET activity. The accounts person said I will not get refunded these 3 days I have had NO INTERNET CONNECTION. According to their Terms and Conditions (5.2 or thereof), if the internet connection stays disconnected for another week, I will still be liable to pay for the full month, even though i am getting NO SERVICE. Other ISP's, e.g. telkom actually pro rata your account for service not received, my question is... MWEB - you are an amazing service, and I truly would recommend you to other users and have, but I think you should pro rata our accounts for DAYS OF NO SERVICE!
