Overcharged by R1400!!

In Feb, my ADSL line was upgraded from a 10GB basic package to the basic uncapped - a change I thought would be relatively simple. Firstly, our account was suspended because our username and password was changed even though I was told it would remain the same. Last week, I received this month's bill and it turns out they've upgraded us to "Elite Uncapped" and been prorated from Feb 9th to the value of about R1400 above the normal bill. I went into the Canal Walk branch and I was told that I need to log a dispute and so I did, but I was then told I need to pay the full amount this month and I will be credited with the amount in the following account, should the dispute be valid. If I don't pay the amount by April 2nd, our line will be suspended. Furthermore, I was also told that we weren't eligible for the "Elite" package anyway due to our slower line speed, so how on earth could this have been put in motion to begin with? I find this whole thing to be ridiculous and I WILL NOT pay for an error that was not my own. Where on earth I'm supposed to scrounge an extra R1400 for a Telkom bill this month is beyond me. I am outraged!
