My fiance and I have now had 2 claims "rejected" by C-Cover... the first one being May last year (where who ever did the data capturing on the system did so incorrectly) to date we awaiting a rejection letter! Saturday (the 16th March 2013) marked a month that we have been without cell phones as claim was then rejected. When questioned why we were told they got instruction from us to cancel the insurance, when asking for the proof thereof the story changed and they said "the system accidentally-automatically deleted the insurance and there is nothing they can do about it". We then requested documentation to be sent to us, which took 11 days to send 6 pages via email and got the comment "these things take time." I am now happy to report that since Cell C is a "do it yourself service" I have taken my case up with the Short Term Ombudsman-Soon to be going to the Consumer & FAIS Ombudsman -They might have more success in getting Cell C and C Cover to not only do their job-but train their staff properly!!!
