I had my ADSL installed by Mweb in October 2012 and have had ongoing problems with the router disconnecting ever since. The fault it appears has to do with the line and over the past few months I have received several telephone calls from Mweb and Telkom as well as ongoing visits to my house by Telkom technicians at inappropriate times e.g. on Sundays and Public Holidays. Every technician that has been to my house to date has had a different version as to why we are experiencing problems. On this month's invoice Mweb charged me R230.57 for a call out charge which I queried and was shocked at their response. I was told that 'there is currently an open investigation on my account' and 'as soon as the query has been resolved we will have a look into your call out query'. The fault on my line is not my problem and they had no right taking money out of my bank account without my permission. Trying to sort my ongoing problem with Mweb has cost me hundreds of Rands in telephone calls dealing with incompetent people and now they have the audacity to take money from my account without permission. Called their Cape Town office again today and still no joy - DISGUSTED TO SAY THE LEAST!!!
