No internet coverage but billed for 8 months!!!

Having been a happy Vodacom customer all my life, at the end of July 2012 I signed a 24 month contract for a wireless internet router. Being a rather thorough fella I made sure to ask the sales consultant to verify whether we have service in the area of Gordon's Bay where our complex is situated. I was assured that the signal is excellent and would have no problem connecting.
As soon as the router was plugged-in at home, we experienced either no or constant dropping of signal and was unable to use the internet. I returned the router immediately but was told that it must be either a software or hardware problem and it needs to be sent away for repairs. After receiving it back, I was told to purchase a new sim-card. Took router home again, same story, no signal.
Return to Vodacom, asked to cancel contract, no-joy. So, now I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.
Finally, after months of fighting I am told by Vodacom that there is actually no-signal where we stay and they will refund all the months I paid (R2232-00) great I think, finally sorted? Yesterday, 14-03-2013 I receive a notice of payment R914.99... Am highly disgruntled...
