Pathetic service from Vodacom

I have recently moved and the cellphone signal is pathetic where we stay. I have contacted Vodacom to be told that I must wait 6 months as they are going to be putting up a new tower nearby. So when asked what Can be done in the meantime I'm told nothing. Luckily my cellphone contract is up within the 6 months so what they have made me do is move to MTN or cell c whose signal works. I can't believe that this pathetic service is being provided to customers in urban areas, I would understand such an excuse or answer in other areas.
