I visited the MTN Store in Eastgate yesterday, and was assisted by a consultant by the name of Isaac. Don't think he knows much about his job. First he asks me what I need help with, after giving him feedback he is unable to locate the handset I was due for an upgrade for.

Thereafter, I inform him that I would like to downgrade my package from an Anytime 350 to an Anytime 200. He was looking on the system to see if the handset was offered on an Anytime 100. When I enquired about it, he advised that he didn't clearly understand me.

Then he tells me I have - R 200 airtime available and he thinks if I downgrade my package I will forfeit this. Then mentions to me that he needs to double check this. I ask him about it and he goes oh I was going to call them and ask about the airtime.

He then tells me that he doesn't know if the Nokia Lumia 620 requires a micro SIM card and asks me to remove my current SIM card from my phone. After doing that he tells me he can cut my existing SIM card to fit the new phone.

Is this supposed to be considered professional service that I am paying for? How can you have a staff member assist clients when they don't know anything about the produc
