Nobody Would Believe What Telkom Has Done To Us

We were moving into a retirement home that had it's own phone and internet so I had to go into the Telkom branch and cancel our service. I was hoping to keep our mailbox so I filled in the necessary forms to cancel but retain the mailbox.2 months later we were stlill getting bills for a service we weren't using. When we went into the branch they insisted that they hadn't received any cancellation forms and we had to pay the bills. If you phone their 'customer services' you are kept waiting at least 20 minutes but more often than not 40.Once when they looked up our profile they slammed the phone down! I was going through emails from November 2012 and found an email acknowledging receipt of the cancellation form and asking me if I wanted to keep the mailbox to which I had replied and explained our situation. When I forwarded this to their 'escalation department ' as confirmation of everything and requesting a refund for the R100s of Rands that they have taken off pensioners such as us there was no reply. They have just disabled the mailbox causing us more problems. We have never had a single reply from their 'CUSTOMER CARE" when I email them. THEY COULD NOT CARE LESS!!!
