Advertised stuff-discontinued

Telecommunications

Good day

I have seen an advert at the store for a Huawei Media pad for R99.00 inc 200mb. I did not have my stuff with me to do the upgrade on my exsisting contract so i came back on Sunday 10/03/2013. The ad was still displayed as i have seen it before. The store was busy so i waited and when someone assisted me, i asked if i could find out about upgrading to that product advertised. The salesman tells me that it has been disontinued and showed me the new booklet that shows that the price is now R199.00 with the 500mb. I asked why is it still on the display for R99.00. He advised me that they(?) have not come to remove it as yet. So a bit irritated i left. Why is the advert not removed because the AD is on a CD cover and to remove it should not be such a huge task. I waisted my time and money to drive all the way there to be told that. I accept that if i got there and the AD was changed then thats tough on my part, but to get the and stand in a cue and then be told that its discontinued is unacceptable. I do not want to pay R199.00 for something thats advertised for R99.00
