A few days ago I phoned 111 (Vodacom support services). I was on hold for 10 mins the first call I made before hanging up and deciding to call back later. Later I tried 3 more times, where I waited 30 mins, 45 mins and over an hour without answer. The final time I called I waited on the phone for over an hour and was cut off without answer.
I went in to a branch to sort out my issue and waited 25 minutes in store while the consultant was trying to make the phone call herself. Eventually we were helped and the operative on the phone said my contract would be canceled within 2 business days. This was last week Friday, It has been a week since and my contract is still active. I am currently on hold with 082 1950 (the number I was asked to call if I had follow up queries). I have been waiting for answer for 45 minutes now and am still holding. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. And completely unacceptable. If not for any other reason I will no longer be with Vodacom because their customer service is appalling.
