So, my MTN cellphone contract expires on the 17th of March, and so want to port my number to CellC.
Now i understand that my contract must first expire in full, before i can port. No problems with this. I however called numerous times, and each consultant said they'd sent me the forms, yet the guys i spoke to 28th of Feb, did it over the phone... it took forever, but it was done... ref no 2001835125
What I have a problem with in when a consultant tells me that it will take 25 days for the number to got from a contract to prepaid. This is ridiculous. My colleagues, who werealso on MTN, went from contract to prepaid, to another network in less than 24hours.
Why is this a problem for Nashua Mobile? I don't want to locked in for another month.
Surely this is unfair? Also Jacob, the guy who called me yesterday, in connection with a Blackberry Z10, about 2 weeks after I requested to be contacted, which in itself is ridiculous, doesnt know what he's talking about and could seriously do with more training.
There just seems to be different responses from different people at different times...
I look forward to your response.
