I took out a contract with Vodacom at Hi-Fi Corporation where I received a laptop, cell phone, printer and USB Modem for R199 per month. It was a weekender with pre-paid (100MB data free per month for 12 months).
Unable to find the sims I visited the Vodashop at the Glen. The consultant Dominique performed a sim swop on both sim cards, the cell and USB modem. I specifically explained to Dominique that 2 sim swops had to be done. She assured me it was done correctly. I don't receive my statemetns and assumed I was billed correctly. I noticed in Febraury 2013 on my bank statement, huge amounts being debited since I visited the Vodashop at the end of September 2013. My package was activated incorrectly. I sent numerous mails and have to constantly chase for feedback from Vodacom. The regional Manageress Jana Marne's attitude is disgusting. She says the employee does not work there anymore and I used the package and cannot be credited. I'm owed over R3000 and the package needs to be rectified. Vodacom's customer service is disappointing. I was deceived by the consultant resulting in the loss of thousands of rands.
