Vodacom service sporadic and extremely slow

I have logged a complaint with Vodacom re Blackberry Service being down. I am not satisfied with the responses provided to date.

They are not communicating with their BB client base:
- the status of the problem
- when the service is fully restored
- for the first time late last year I had to run diagnostics to get it to read EDGE - never
experienced problem before LTE was introduced

Further, on the 3G / HSDPA network the connections in White River were good - but since LTE pathetic. Regularly dropped connections. I am now resorting to running my BB via my wireless network at my own expense despite having an active BB BIS.

BBM service highly erratic, interrupted messages, etc.

I will report in the interest of public on what Vodacom is doing, or alternatively what network I find better in my neck of the woods. I will also evaluate what options PAYG clients have re other smart phones to find another viable alternative to BB for people like myself in the NPC industry where contracts are unaffordable.
