Two weeks ago I took it to Vodacom Repair Centre where they gave me a useless LG cellphone as a loan while they booking mine for repair. On Tuesday I receive a voice message from a Vodacom Consultant saying I must call back to discuss the 'QUOTE'. She left a number for me to call which I called and it was engaged until after an hour where it went through but there was no answer. Yesterday i went back to Vodacom (58 Km driving) to find out what was the story and the guy printed out a quotation for me and gave me another number to contact where my cellphone is booked at. I called and the lady i spoke to told me that I will have to pay R855 to fix my phone as its a 'none-warranty' fault and that is a 'liquid' they found inside my cellphone. I found this untrue and feel very exploited and cheated on by Vodacom, the company i have been loyal to (as a contractor) for as long as I can remember. This is an excuse to make money out of me and to show how unvaluable I am as a customer. My colleague (white to be precisely) had the similar problem and he got a replacement without hassle. I feel very discriminated against right now and decided not to renew my contract with Vodacom with them.
