What's happened to a once great service?

I recharge my MTN prepaid phone and get a sms stating exactly this: Thank you for recharging with R60, you have also received R60 FREE airtime." So I don't recharge my phone with more airtime coz I have sufficient for my BIS. Today I notice that my airtime is gone and my BIS isn't working so I phone MTN to find out that that was promotional airtime and it expired today and cannot be used to pay for BIS. It didn't say anything about that in the sms!!! Oh but if I had phoned 555 they would have told me. How was I supposed to know that if i'm not told??? Between my husband and I we have 4 contracts with MTN and my prepaid and this is the kind of service i get?? I have already laid a complaint on hellopeter earlier this week about another problem we've had with them and NO ONE has gotten back to us about it, yet MTN is apparently a company that responds? If MTN carries on like this they will loose all their customers as I have seen many complaints about the same thing I've complained about. Hope 8ta and Virgin are ready for their abundance of customers that will soon be coming their way, and that MTN is ready for their loss of customers.
