Neotel has had a good product until recently, but it amazes me that such a company is bent on destroying its business. I am a prepaid customer who, inspite of a credit balance in my account, lesrnt that my airtime validity HSS expired, and was advised to recharge. I duly went to Checkers and purchased a recharge voucher for R25, only to discover later that one cannot recharge, or for that matter, call their customer service, owing to the phone being blocked..This morning I telephoned their 0800 number and was told that it was an IT issue, they could not tell me when the problem would be fixed. I went to Checkers to complain, and was told that they could not refund my airtime. I pointed out to them that they were committing and requested that they take matters further. What is also disturbing, is Nortel's standard response to each and every query lodged on this websi, as it shows that they simply don't care about their customers. How very sad and tragic, as none of their prepaid customers are able to recharge if they were disconnected.
