Cell C
No proper resolution

I would like to inform you of the breaching of the CPA (Consumer protection act) by Cell C. my wife has seen a add (flyer) for an Iphone special (straight up 200 for R399/month) and visited the Tygervalley Cell C store. Only to found that they have a waiting list since December and they cannot guarantee that she will get this deal. The excuse was they are short of handsets.
I have upgraded my contract last week and waited 2 weeks for my port and my hand set was available immediately (Iphone).
I have called some of the Cell C stores and they indicated that they can get handset, but when I enquired about this special, they came up with excuses that there are waiting lists and other contracts gets preference.
Could you please investigate this and revert as all I want is for my wife to be treated fairly.

No commitment from cell c. We acknowledge but no further action
