Deceptive advertising

I signed up through Afrihost for a 1mbps adsl account. As I already have a normal Telkom landline I chose the option where Afrihost then convert the line to ADSL. Only after entering my credit card details (which means that Afrihost can already deduct payment of my account even before i have proper service from them) do i get told after calling the support centre that the conversion can take anywhere between 14-30 days!!??? thsi is rediculous. Instead of putting up all the nice features and low costs in adverts the first line in big bold letters on their adverts should read that it takes forever to get the service up and running. Now I am just wondering how much I will be charged since i see that the cancellation notice period is 30 days. I have signed up yesterday and am cancelling today - will i still be billed for 30 days without getting a single minute of service from Afrihost??
