I contacted a Vodacom call centre from a friend's phone when during my upgrade to the new i-phone I was eventually left with two inactive sim cards. Neil was polite and a good listener who immediately understood the nature of my problem and the dilemma it caused me. My phone is on the company corporate account which is not normally serviced from the consumer call centre, however Neil promised that he would get the matter resolved, as it was after normal office hours and the corporate service desk was no longer available. Before putting my call on hold to get authority to access the corporate account, Neil checked whether I was calling from a Vodacom phone, which would be free of charge, as he did not want me to incur unnecessary costs. He returned to the call with the necessary authority and knowledge to assist me, and within less than five minutes I was yet again connected. It is so very refreshing to receive this level of service these says. We need more Neil's and hopefully more Neil's in leadership positions where they can inspire a larger audience to strive for customer delight. Thank you very much Neil, it was such a pleasure dealing with you - you do Vodacom proud.
