On 26 January 2013 my blackberry was at a Mall in Johannesburg and I had immediately contacted Vodacom; via my sister's mobile; to sort out the necessary with regards to blacklisting and blocking the mobile number etc. I was emailed a PREMATURE CANCELLATION QUOTATION on 27 January 2013 of which I was to accept and pay within 7 days. Payment was done accordingly on 2 February 2013.

On Saturday 16 February 2013 I was to sign a new mobile contract but I was told that Vodacom had listed my name on the credit bureau!!! I was so appalled and angry. My question as to why?? This has caused me much inconvenience and embarrassment.

On the 18 February 2013 I called Vodacom and I enquired as to why the black listing. The customer care representative informs me that I owe Vodacom R69 for usage for January 2013. I was dumbfounded as I had not received NO COMMUNICATION in this regard to the amounts outstanding. The Vodacom representative further states that I am not black-listed. So can they explain as to why my mobile contract application was rejected and Vodacom was named as the party that had listed me??

Can Vodacom kindly contact me urgently to resolve this issue?
