I have a cellphone contract with vodacom, its been almost 2 years so I know my time to upgrade is close by so I tried calling the Vodashop in the Gateway shopping mall on Saturday 16/02/2013 on 0315663157, I must have called at least 10-15 times from 3pm and there was no answer, so I assumed they had a problem with their phone, I then made a special trip to the store as I was quiet excited about getting a new phone. When I arrived at the store they were busy and noone attended to me for some time, out of curiosity I dialled the store no. while in the store from my cell and the phone rings, noone bothers to answer! After waiting for 30 mins I was served by a guy, unsure of his name, I was told I qualify for an upgrade but they don't have stock of the phone I want! All of this frustration could have been avoided if someone had answered the phone so I wouldn't have had to waste a trip to the store, when I asked the guy why noone answers the phone, he said "there is no admin staff" there today, I stormed out of the store in disbelief, anger, disgust, frustration and disappointment, I wonder if Vodacom's senior management is aware that this is the type of service customers receive...
