I recently aquired a cell c contract. The offer was 200 free airtime, 200 sms/mms and 500MB data per month fro 24 months. However cell c just told me that i stand to loose the DATA and SMS/MMS if i don't get to use them monthly. They don't carry over like the airtime for at least three months.

This is from me because i pay for these. The advertising of this product is also not clear that if you don't get to use the sms/mms and data you will monthly forfeit them. This is by far at it's best even after the consumer protector ruled at some point that cellphone companies are obliged to at least keep these sms/mms, data and airtime for three months.

I will also write or call the consumer protector about this matter.
