Slow speeds for a week

Good day

I am currently on a 2 meg line from telkom and 1 meg uncapped account from mweb. I use to be able to download at an avg of 120 to 200 Kb/s during off peak times and around 50-80 kb/s during peak times but in the past week it has drasticaly gotten worse. i now get like 80-90 during off peak and 10-20 during peak. I wont these are torrent speeds i am talking about. but would like to know why all of a sudden such bad speeds where i used to get higher than that for months prior.
