ADSL Line not working properly!

On 06/01/2013 we reported yet another fault on our ADS Line to Telkom, with ref no. 200CRK060113. As at today's date (10/01/2013) we have yet to see a technician being despatched, let alone fixing the problem once and for all. We have followed up with the Call Centre on numerous occasions, but all you get are the usual kneejerk horse manure by staff who appear to be totally disinterested! Our 4MB ADSL line has been faulty for the last 3 years in that the line speed remains intermittent. On a good day the download speed would range between 0.3 MBps and 3.2 MBps, but since installation it has NEVER been stable. After countless callouts the line is still not fixed. Perhaps the technicians are simply incapable of fixing the problem. Unfortunately our ADS line is on the Bryanston exhange which has still not been upgraded to 10 MB so we are stuck! Apparently it's not possible to be connected to a different exchange unless you move house. I also escalated this complaint to Telkom via email on 07/01/2013. To date I have not received a written acknowledgement or reference no, so I must assume it's fallen into a "black hole". After all, Telkom refuse to be held ACCOUNTABLE to anyone!
