Cancellation Confirmed but still billing me in ful

On the 10th Jan 2014 I struggled to get through to the cancellations department of Telkom - the sales line answered immediately but said that they could not help me. When I evenutually got through I proceeded to cancel my Telkom ADSL - I only wanted to keep the line rental. The guy informed that this would serve as month's notice and that a consultant would call me back to confirm. Nobody has phoned yet and I just received my bill for February charging me with the full amount for ADSL eventhough I have since switched to an alternative service provider. This is pathetic, even if a cutomer is leaving you can let hime do so pleasantly as at least then they won't bad mouth you to others leading to further losses of customers.
