Incorrect billing with no help

I raised a billing query in December at the mtn store, and subsequent no action had been taken.i called the call centre reuqesting early termination fee for my contract, i spoke to a lady by the name of Portia Mukaswe, she gave an amount of R3072.38. she confirmed this is the amount i need to pay to terminate my contract. when i wanted to cancel my data contract she said she will transfer me to retentions department, and to my surprise they told me to cancel my phone contract i nee to pay about R8000, and the guy at retentions told me Portia must have made an assumption of the amount. i then asked to be transferred back to accounts where i spoke to a lady by the name of Carmen Wentzel, asked to speak to her supervisor and the transfer never happened. i was on hold for 20 min and no correspondence that i was still being transferred or what. this is disgusting, if MTN employs call center agents who will "assume" information then i doubt i want to stay with them, i will not have people assuming that i use the services when in fact i haven't, again this means they "assumed" the amount on my invoice, which i will not pay as i do not pay for assumed services.
