Un co-operate, could not care less attitude

A friend was making a purchase in the Musgrave Centre Vodacom outlet when she had two strangers, elderly people come and stand either side of her and the man started chatting to her, whilst the woman her purse out of her bag. Reported to the mamanger and asked if we could see security video footage, as our friend is quite sure that she knows the name of the one person.

Manager refuses outright, admitting that he himself has seen the footage, stating that he thought the couple were friends of the victim who had her purse. If he allowed just this footage to be seen it would help the investigation. But it seems that all this expensive security cameras, and recordings are only for Vodacom's benefit. They could not care less about the customer, or the customer's security. Sorry that I have just renewed contract with this supplier.
