MTN Making it Impossible to Cancell a Contract

I Have been trying to get hold of someone to speak to regarding my 2 GIG Data Deal that has expired in January 2014

I have since gone to the MNT stores in Greenstone Mall as well as Menlyn mall, after waiting in ques for more than an hour, nobody seems know how to help me with such a simple request.

I was instructed to phone 0831808 or 808 where I would be helped, I was on hold on several occasions for more than 30 mins with no luck.

I tried going to MTN's website where they suggest I either phone 083 705 7171 or send a mail to [Email Removed], I did both, on the phone line I get to a Fax nr so no luck there, I sent a mail as well, no response as of yet, I also forwarded the same mail to customer care [Email Removed] and still got no reply.

Why should this be so difficult? Surely contracts expire everyday, does everyone have to go through this entire
circus every time or just stay a MTN customer for life? how is it possible that someone who has access to multiple shops, can contact MTN at anytime via phone Email AND have access to the Internet to access their site still not be able to get hold of anyone?

Please help I don't know what to do next
