I paid my account on the 27th Jan 2014. And yet my account is still not reactivated. I contacted the contract customer service, i was put on hold for 45 minutes not once or twice but 5 times. Sometimes they would hang up the phone. Its so frustrating doing the same thing over and over each day. If this is the kind of service that mtn provides, I'm definitely changing my network provider once I'm done with this contract. I've never experienced such pathetic problems with my previous network providers. And when i do get through to customer service for contract they do not try to assist me with my problem instead they inform me to contact the legal department during office hours and they do not even give me a number to call in the morning or during the day. It seems to me they like shifting blame to departments that are closed and not take ownership of the call. Its bad customer service from Phakama the agent who dealt with the call. And Joe Jacobs apparently the head of legal for MTN who cannot be contacted. Such delays should be done away with. When I pay for a service, i expect that service to be done and not stalled for unexplained reasons. MTN is the worst network provider in SA.
