I have never had such a bad experience before with cell c while trying to get my old number back, on friday i must have called MTN 10 times trying to do a sim swop. i lost my fone on tuesday, insuurance gave me a new fone on thursday with a new sim card, however, when i put in the new sim card on the new fone, it did not work, i went to the sandton MTN store, the guy that helped me, told me that the 24hrs had lapsed hence my sim card did not work, he then gave me a new simcard, i did all the RICA at the store, he told me that i need to call 173 inorder to get my 0836805006 number back, which i did, the call centre agent then asked me when i lost my fone, i told her, the fone i used before, i told her, she then told me i failed all questions i must call back, i did call back i was then asked more silly questions which, i new for a fact the answers i provided were correct, but to then i had failed, i told the other call centre agents that my line used to be a contract line, i only started using prepaid late december as they kept asking me which MTN was i on? i dont even know the MTN promotions... i have just had enough with MTN, they only put u first only if ur line is contract
