Rip off on Unisa students data plan

Between Unisa and Telkom someone is getting rich by ripping off students who are in need of Internet. I will cut my story short: paid for the students data deal which offers 3Gig of data plus 3Gig night surfer per month, for 6months, at a cost of R600 paid upfront to Unisa. Paid in October 2013 and there was silence after that! Took the matter up in January 2014 and was told the card would be activated within 48 hours, and this became 7 days after several emails. When the data was loaded I learnt that it is only 1Gig not 3Gig as agreed, plus the 3Gig nightsurfer. I called Telkom customer service and was told that they cannot deal with the matter because I am not the customer, but Unisa is. But I am the one who paid and Telkom RICAd the sim using MY details not Unisa's! I am really sick of this nonsense. How many other students are being ripped off without even noticing? Will appreciate if someone from Telkom can address this in a professional manner.
