Billing for a cancelled contract and faulty phones

I telephonically upgraded in October 2013, the cellphone gave me problems within 7 days. This was reported and it took vodacom about two weeks to deliver the replacement. used the "new" cellphone for 4 days and again i experienced problems with it (Reported on November 13th, 2013)
The matter was reported and i notified vodacom that i no longer wish to continue with the contract as they were offering a second replacement. I was then advised that since my initial contract only expires December, they will bill me for that contract and not the upgrade.
Vodacom deducted money for the upgrade end November and December. Followed up the matter and was told the contract will be cancelled only when they have the device which they have to come and fetch.
It is the 31st January 2014 vodacom has not fetched their device. sent e-mails and called but to date the matter is still not resolved.
POOR SERVICE AT ITS BEST!!!
