Keep the airtime i just want my contract cancelled

I have two contracts in my name, one that i use and one that i got for my mom. in Dec 2013, i phoned MTN and asked whent this contract would expire and how i could go about cancellaing as my mom has left the country and i do not need this extra contract. they told me the contract expires in Jan and i can phone anytime in jan and they will be able to cancel it. on the 9th of Jan, i phoned 808 spoke to a consultant who explained the different cancellation options and put me through to the cancellations dept. after holding on for an hour, i eventually put the phone down and attempted to send an email to customer care. i recieved a response straight away, however, no confirmation of cancellation. followed up via email again on the 21st to no avail. Today, i got my bill showing that the contract is still active and is now more expensive too!!! i am holding on for who knows who as we speak, it's been over half an hour already. you can keep the airtime, all i want is to stop being billed for the contract
