Poor disgusting signal, ignored when reported

I live in Linden, and work from home using a MTN data signal for my computer. I moved here 7 months ago&found the signal very slow (2g, 3g, Edge and non-existent). Also drops whenever it feels like it. Finally, after battling with it, I reported it on December 23rd, got a reference number&was told there's a 10 day turnaround&somebody will come out to boost my signal. So far-nothing. This past Friday (24th Jan) - signal disappeared completely until 2pm in the afternoon. Does MTN not want money for data? must we start looking at other providers? (there are 2 of us using MTN on this property). I think it's disgusting to have such a archaic signal in this day and age (are we in the 90's here? -it's a busy suburb), and as for not pitching up to have a look, or contacting me - that's really poor, disgusting service MTN.
