I received a Z10 as a gift. It is prepaid. Z10 is extremely data hungry so i decided to buy a data bundle. Thus i saw MTN's social service bundle with a fair usage policy of 40mb. I understand that their is no BIS on a Z10 but since other networks have packages on prepaid that caters to the Z10. I assumed so would mtn. How badly mistaken was I when i purchased this "package" and found out that i cud not use this 40mb for social services. I called the call centre who then told me that I wasted my money on this product and that i wont even get a refund. how on earth can you tell your customer something like that. Nowhere when purchasing bundles using *141*2# have i seen something indicating to me that this product only works on "Some BB's". I have been with MTN since i had my first phone in 2004 and whenever i purchase products from them i would be told that the service is not compatible with my device and would be saved from waisting my money on something i cannot use. I feel cheated and betrayed by a company i trusted and i never thought i would ever want to leave mtn for another network but this day has come. I wonder how much money MTN made from customers through like this?
