Vodacom Ineffectual and Poor Service

This month, I have been receiving calls from a Private Number from Vodacom, an automated message that tells me I owe them for the last months instalment and my account is in arrears. Essentially I have no problem with this, however they debited my account the week before. There was sufficient funds for the debit, however their system, in its wisdom, decided there was not enough funds, so they put the whole amount for the payment, which they had debited back into my account, where upon my bank charged me for failed debit fees as well as the initial debit fee. As a consequence the funds I have budgeted for the payment have been diminished. I then took it upon myself to contact their Subscriber Collections Department to enquire and I have been refused service on the basis that I am not the account holder, in spite of the fact that I sent them a letter with confirmation that I had authority to make changes to the account from the account holder some time ago. For some reason this information just was not saved by Vodacom, additionally, they have no effective lines of communication between departments as other departments are aware of this letter. I am appalled by Vodacom's service
