No feedback on refund - 7 days no answer

My account was written off due to no payments received (I informed 8ta of the change of my banking details and they captured it on their system but it wasn't adjusted for their debit order run). I acknowledge the outstanding amount due to them and it needs to be paid. It was then handed over to Nu Debt for collection. Nu Debt recover according to instructions given by 8ta. Nu debt debit my account twice for the same amount, which they have now over debit me with R1100. This money is due back to me. I've given my banking details and I've spoken to: Gugulethu Dube, Andile, Doris Sobuwa (She's given me her line manager name and number, Lambert Makhoza 012 6806721 and the number does not exist) and another team leader. No one at their offices can give me feedback as to when this money will be refunded. Shocking. R1100 is a lot of money that goes out of my budget. I've sent bank statements indicating the debit from my account but 8ta now first needs to check with Nudebt whether money was taken. Their internal processes they need to sort out. More than a week and still awaiting their feedback... Service levels down the drain. Nobody at 8ta wants to take responsibility...
