Telkom incompetence!

Telecommunications

Telkom technicians were working in our area last week and in the process disconnected a whole bunch of residents from our area. Our line was first crossed with someone else from the beginning of last week, then on Thursday we started losing dialing tone, and since Saturday we've had no no landline or Internet connection at all! My husband and I work from home so our livelihoods depend on this being fixed urgently, but all I get when I call Telkom is ignorance and apathy from call centre staff who tell me the situation will be dealt with when it gets to the front of the queue. It's been 5 days with no line now, we are totally desperate for someone who actually knows what they're doing to sort this out urgently!!!
