Pathetic service from Telkom - as usual

Last phone call I have received was on 22 Jan 2014. 1 Feb: I wanted to make a call and then realised that the line is dead (no dialling tone). My daughter phoned me to ask whether I have discontinued the landline as a gentleman is answering our number. Made a call from my cell phone to Telkom, holding on forever, couldn't get through. I then sent the following sms: My land line is dead since Saturday past, no dialing tone. Cannot make or receive calls. Phoned my landline and a man answered saying it is his number which he got from Telkom recently. I have reported to TELKOM that I have a crossed line on several occasions in the past as I can hear conversations on my line. Automated reply: fault was already logged using my cellphone number. 4 Feb: 3 phone calls following the prompts in the queuing system. All 3 occasions after holding on for quite some time, I get cut off. Tried following up on my query and get cut off. How am I suppose to get through to TELKOM. It is very frustrating and time consuming. I had endless problems in the past with cracking lines to crossed lines to no service at all. I pay my telephone bill religiously every month and this is the service I get???
