Feels like im back in the dark ages

I opened two contracts for their advertized s4 mini contract. I was promised delivery within three days from said date. I received my phones after two weeks of exasperating frustration. I was stuck without data, airtime and an appropriate handset because I had to cancel my contract with my previous service provider to have my number available to port. Upon receiving my handset, the microsim had not been activated with any number let alone programmed with my requested number. When I try to send emails, they bounce back. This has been my third afternoon in two weeks spent at their place of business but to no avail. Ive spent almost everyday of the last two weeks on the phone with them. Each time i call, i spend almost three hours with a ringing phone for company but no answer is forthcoming for ages. Today, they tell me that it takes 3-4 working days to port a number. Like that is supposed to pacify me. What is this? The dark ages? In my ten years of contract phones with various service providers, I have never ever experienced such atrocious service. I genuinely want to cancel my contract but ive come this far, hopefully these two weeks of agony will bear some worthwhile fruits.
