I might have opened a can of rotten worms by applying to do business with MTN.

I went to MTN in the Pavillion. The store was empty with just about 5 MTN employees inside. I stood there for about 10 minutes and none of them bothers to offer any assistant. I eventually decide to walk up to a counter, and one lady behind the counter looks at me up and down and asks me whether I took a ticket. I am puzzled. There is literally no one else at the store besides the 5 employees but I have to get the ticket to join the imaginary queue.

I am told that I need to get all the necessary documents. And I gladly go and get all the necessary documents.

I came back and have to join the qeuee again.

I am suprized to hear that my account is with the legal department. I never got any SMS/calls to let me know that apparently I am not a good payer. The contract was closed more than 2years ago.

I finish at the store and told it will take 2 - 48hours to process it.

Eventually I call in the store. The lady takes down my number and assures me that she'l get them to call me back. And I wait.

I decide to call and nobody picks up the phone. I have been waiting and constantly calling since yesterday.
