Failure to cancel contract

I had 2 cell numbers on contract with Virgin Mobile. I called them in July / August last year to cancel the one account, which they did. The second one I called a couple weeks later about, they explained I would still be billed to end September, all fine. In November I found out they billed me for October, I emailed off their website, a week later, no response. I called them early December and asked them to cancel and refund me for October and November, they said they would cancel it, no mention of refunding me for the two months I did not use their service. Early January I get another bill. I call, they promise to cancel it and call me back. A week later, no response so I call again. Go through the same questions. Get told I cannot prove I called in August, I cannot prove I emailed them off their website. No assistance to get a refund. I visit the Menlyn branch, they inform me I have an outstanding balance and need to pay until end January. I cannot get to speak to someone senior who can solve this one. I refuse to pay them another cent and they owe me three months. I cannot waste time constantly waiting for their helpline to answer and then speak to another person who can't help.
