Invalid recharge pin

Hi,

This past Monday I bought 8ta airtime via Absa rewards for an amount of R50.00 so they sent me the recharge pin but when I when inserted the voucher I got a message telling me that the pin is invalid. I contacted the 8ta call centre where I was told that my query will be sent to their technical team and I would b phoned back within 72 hrs BUT that has lapsed already. Today I phoned them again and now Im told that I must send proof of purchase and wait another few days for feedback, WHY should I still send the proof if I gave them the recharge pin to validate if it was valid or not.

I really thought porting to telkom mobile would a be agreat experience but now its turning into a nightmare and nobody seems to give a stuff.
