I called the metro stores this morning and was told I could come pick up a Blackberry Q5 with the necessary documentation. However, after entering my details I was told I have to wait 48 hours as I am a low portfolio client. I was told I should have come on a weekday and the Vodacom back office could then help me. I was also told it does not matter if you earn a million Rand a month, it's how Vodacom calculates it automatically. Surely we could submit forms online? Surely I could have been told about this! People earning much less were walking out the store happily. I drove 150km and got nothing! Vodacom. I now have to pay for a courier to bring it or drive all the way back!
First impression of Vodacom is pathetic. Why do business if your back office staff are not there?
