Autopage - Excessively high data billing

January 2013 I added on a 2GB Special data package (additional device charges of R127.63pm and 2 Gig Special @ R99.00 per month) onto my existing contract, Talk 240@ R430 per month with Autopage Cellular.
I was previously using less than 2 Gig per month so thought the 2 Gig would be my best option.

Since adding on the additional data contract, my account has rocketed up from approximately R1500 a month to R5700 per month.

Endless calls, visits to my local branches have been made, requests in writing via email and fax's requesting a soft lock be put on the account when it has reached it limit. I also requested someone from the department to call me or a Customer Service Manager to sort this out and to date no response to that either!

The last 2 months my bill was R7600- I had to stop payment as a soft lock clearly not done.

I have been an Autopage client for over 10 years and never defaulted in payment. Now I have a problem with billing (data specifically) and have had no assistance whatsoever in resolving this problem. My line has now been suspended and legal action threatened.

The problem can now hopefully be resolved by a third party.
