I called vodacom contract call center to cancel my top up contract and take my nr to pre paid. i was told that my contract will cancel on 31/12/2013 and i should swich off my fone and swich it back on on 01/01/2014 and that nr will be on pre paid. I specifically asked if i will keep teh airtime that i was had and i was told yes. i asked if i will be able to do airtime transfer since my nr will be a normal pre paid nr. i was told yes. i tried to transfer some airtime on 06/01/2014 and i couldnt the error i got was not enough funds available. The reason i cancelled my contract in the first place was because of the bad service fro the call centers. I stil have 1 more contract and i am considering making that paid up also so that i have no more dealings with vodacom and their staff who are blatent liars.
