After many problems and disgusting attitude and service from employees, I cancelled my contract with Virgin Mobile in May 13 and received an email from Chris Barnard stating that it was accepted and that the 30 day notice was in place and that I would still receive the June 13 airtime as per contract with the last payment for this airtime scheduled for 27 July. I would then be placed on a pre-paid contract. I topped up with pre-paid airtime in June as I did not wish to have complications with the last payment and needed continuity of service. On the 1st of July, I noticed that my contract had not been cancelled and that the airtime had been loaded, so I called the call centre to complain, and requested them to reverse this contract airtime and leave the pre-paid airtime. Virgin then removed all of my airtime and the pre-paid airtime. I was furious and eventually someone in the call centre gave me R100.00 voucher, but less than my previous balance. I then signed a contract with another service provider and ported my number, loosing the balance of my airtime. Now on 24 August Virgin has illegally drawn R300.00 from my account and again funds from me for a second time.
