I have the prepaid 3G which I use for the internet and I was sold it with 3Gigs of data that is valid for 365 days. So when I have used all my data I go into the store and get it topped up with the strict instruction that it must be valid for 365 days. On my last visit I was told by one of the consultants there that I can purchase the data online through my FNB account and it will be valid for 365days. Once I purchased it I was sent a sms saying that it was only valid for 30 days. So I called the store and explained to the consultant what had happened, he then said he will ask someone else in the shop for advise. When asking for advise while I was still on hold I heard him say in the back round and I am quoting "this guy has cked up his voucher and now wants us to sort it out." This is disgusting and shocking. I then spoke with the manager (Carl) and he asked me to send my details via email. After emailing back and forth he basically told me that it is not their problem and it was my fault for buying it online. I am shocked that after I was told by one of their consultants to do this, that I am being told that its my fault. They should be taking responsibility for this! Terrible.
