I recently upgraded my contract with Shaheda over the phone and was explained I would get a R699 vodacom contract. instead I got a R499 contract and with R200 MYMEG data add on. I did not request this. I was then also billed for this in December despite only receiving my phone in January. I went into the store in sandton and an indian gentleman told me I had no choice but to accept the 500 data add on as this was how the package was designed. I found this suspicious as the Nashua vodacom package list says the 550meg data is included. I called into the helpline and spoke to Bongani and he confirmed that I should not have to pay this. I then spoke to a manager who also agreed that this was not meant to be, he would investigate and get back to me, still no call. I received another bill in Jan and once again the fee was on my account. I once again called the accounts department and spoke to Kgomotso and to Kolani and they once again agreed there was a mistake. They said I should speak to Karen Fourie and put me on hold. I held for 42minutes and 37 seconds. I was then informed that Karen was in a meeting and that she would call me back. Im still waiting for Karen to call me.
