I ordered a Mifi device from Afrihost online and I received the wrong device. It may well be that I ordered the wrong device but to cut a VERY long story short for an entire month tomorrow, I have been trying to sort out the mess! I have dealt with EIGHT different people in trying to return the incorrect device and get the correct one. This did eventually happen but they did not tell me that I had to return the SIM card too. As a result a returned the second SIM that was sent to me, which was the one that was active. It seems so simple that they could just activate the SIM that I have in my possession but after more than 20 mails, 60 minutes of airtime on my mobile, I am at my wits end! I my previous mobile data contract with another ISP had already expired so I have spent a month using data via my mobile phone provider at rates double those of Afrihost but the frustration would have been avoided if I had just stayed with my previous ISP. Trying to save money is not the answer yet again!!! Not often reduced to tears of frustration in dealing with a service provider. Beyond disappointed!
